PUPPY PRE SCHOOL

Our classes run on Tuesday evenings 6-7pm for 4 weeks and are for puppies between 8 and 16 weeks old who are not yet fully vaccinated and have not been put on the ground in public areas. These classes are designed to allow puppies to socialise, learn basic cues and develop confidence engaging in various activities and through play with dogs their own age.

Getting a new puppy is incredibly exciting for all the family, but it can be quite scary for your puppy. They need time to adjust to their new family, new sights, sounds, and smells. Puppies are delightful bundles of energy and curiosity but they can also be challenging and frustrating…..please be patient. Your puppy will tire easily and require lots of rest. Keep training sessions short 1 - 2 minutes. If you are struggling with teaching a new skill, cue or find yourself becoming frustrated, stop and return to an activity or cue your puppy has previously learnt or loves before finishing your training session. Always end your training sessions on a positive happy note and remember……….. KEEP IT FUN and HAVE FUN!

PLEASE NOTE – OF VITAL IMPORTANCE WHILE YOUR PUPPY IS ATTENDING THE PUPPY PRE SCHOOL CLASSES DO NOT PLACE YOUR PUPPY ON THE GROUND IN A PUBLIC PLACE. THIS POSES A SERIOUS THREAT TO ALL THE PUPPIES ATTENDING THE CLASS.
